Death Effects Mod for TQ:AE

This mod is not made by me, I just imported it to Anniversary Edition. The original creator is i.n.s.a.n.e. from old titanquest.net.
I changed few of the effects, for beast/beastman blood, crow blood and insect/insectoid blood. You can see screenshots here:

Features

Real blood (I think this one is one of the closest to the really real blood).
Insectoids kinda body fluid (should be changed, it does not look good much).
Crows body on stage! Lowered feathers amount.
Plague crows have diseased cloud around their body. Feathers amount lowered.
Demons are taken by the flames from hell itself…
Green and blue djinns have kinda spiral-magical disappearance effect.
Big dragons before last Telkine are also taken by hell but differently.
Fire demons disappear in flames…I am still thinking if the hell should be here also.
Harpies – each kind (8) has its own coloured feathers (the ending one for now)
Ice creatures shatter into ice shards.
Plants burst perianth (?) and also some leaves.
Big trees (Jungle creeps) burst leaves, twigs and barks.
Smaller trees burst the same stuff as Big trees, but different kind of leaves and such.
Vultures have own feathers.
Zombies have a diseased cloud around their body.
The real blood amount is tweaked for the size of monsters. Small creatures have small amount of blood, medium has medium amount of blood and large ones have large amount of blood…
Mummies do not dissolve anymore. (thinking about strips of theirs in new version..)

Update:
- Possible fix for some players not seeing the new effects
- Fixed broken texture link for crag harpy feathers
- Added effects for many quest monsters
- Added effects for many Ragnarok creatures
- Mod jumps to the main game now

Cool mod Id say.Is there any way to merge it with other mods?I dont really want to start a new character just for some new death effects.I dont have that much free time.

I would merge it with Enhanced Gameplay, only I dont like how many of the effects look. I'll probably rework it from scratch and add my own effects before merging it. But i agree, the idea is very cool.

You put GoG mods in "My Games/Titan Quest - Immortal Throne/CustomMaps" folder and load through Custom Quest menu. It works for Steam mods too btw.

Thanks for the quick reply. I loaded a new game from the Custom Quest menu and I'm not seeing any added effects. Granted, I only ran around the opening area for a bit, not sure if the blood effects are only for certain enemies or all of them.

Check if there isn't folder inside folder after you unpack the mods. The effects are supposed to show, even at the horse quest in Helos.

Hello dear Nargil66 ;D
This mod looks absolutely insane. I love TQ, because it was my first hack n slash. Now i bought the anyversary edition on gog. Problem is: I cant play a hack n slash without blood now, 14 years later^^ You were already very patent with questions and answered but a dont get it.

I have no costum maps folder. My Path ist written: "D:\GOG Galaxy\Games\Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition".
Or in Dokuments:"C:\Users\dumms\OneDrive\Dokumente\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne" AND "C:\Users\dumms\OneDrive\Dokumente\My Games\Titan Quest".

I absolutely dont know what to with the file. I also dont know how to install fanpatch v.117a. Could you give me a step by step toturial, what i have to do?

Just create the CustomMaps folder manually. However i cant guarantee the Death Effects will still work properly, as it is very outdated.
