Title: Q: How does Dvalin's Simulacrum work?
Post by: Lars_Rakett on 14 January 2021, 01:47:15
Hi! New to the forums and returning TQ player here.

Last time I played, artifacts weren't in the game, and now I'm ready to make Dvalin's Simulacrum.

I've understood that this summons a doppelganger of your character and that it can use your skills, but I still have one question that I can't seem to find the answer to online:

Does the doppelganger snapshot your skills when you create the artifact, or is it snapshot every time the doppelganger is summoned? Can I, for instance, create a warfare character and only have Ancestral Horn on him, then create the artifact, resulting in a doppelganger that only casts Ancestral Horn even when I equip the artifact on my Earth/Nature character afterwards?

Doppelganger have list skills that they can using from character's (or original one that clone them). So if your character invest the skills in that list in your masteries, Doppelganger can using those skills in battle.

Thanks for the reply!

So if I make a character with Ancestral Horn and use that character to create the artifact, then I can give the artifact to my nature/earth character and make doppelangers that cast Ancestral Horn?

Dvalinn's Simulacrum artifact clones character that equip artifact, not from character created that artifact.
